The joint surfaces of valves, pipelines, flanges, and joints in the oil system must be well scraped to ensure flatness and straightness. The flange joint surfaces should use insulation paper, green shell paper, or oil resistant asbestos board with a thickness of no more than 1.5mm. Prohibit the use of plastic pads or rubber pads (including oil resistant rubber pads). The lock nut joint should use soft metal washers. Oil system pipelines, shut-off valves, joints, flanges, and other components should generally be selected based on twice the working pressure. The thinnest thickness of oil system pipes should not be less than 1.5mm, and valves or cocks made of cast iron or copper should not be used in the oil system. The hot pipes or heating bodies near the oil pipeline must be well insulated and covered with iron sheets. Measures should be taken to prevent long-term vibration wear and thinning of oil pipelines (especially small diameter pipelines) to prevent fires caused by thinning explosions. When oil is sprayed on the flange joint surface of the oil system or when high-pressure oil pipes (including pressure gauge pipes) rupture during the operation of the steam turbine, the oil leakage defects should be isolated and eliminated in a timely manner. If the sprayed oil catches fire, firefighting should be carried out immediately. The accident oil discharge system of the steam turbine should be reliable and unobstructed, and the accident oil storage pit should be kept intact and free of accumulated water and debris. When the fire in the steam turbine system cannot be controlled or endangers the oil tank, the emergency exhaust valve should be immediately opened to discharge the oil into the emergency oil storage pit.
