Activated clay is mainly white and pink, odorless, non-toxic, with good activity and strong adsorption. It is easy to absorb moisture in the air. If left for too long or exposed to moisture, its adsorption function will be reduced. It is recommended to heat it (at 80-100 degrees Celsius) to revive it. If heated above 300 degrees Celsius, it will lose its crystalline water and its structure will change, affecting the decolorization effect. Choose strong adsorption capacity, high decolorization rate, low oil carrying rate, fast filtration speed, and low addition amount. Effectively removing total phospholipids, soaps, and trace metal ions from oils and fats, it is a natural antioxidant. Remove toxins and odor substances such as aflatoxin and pesticide residues from oils and fats. The acid value of the decolorized oil does not increase, it does not discolor, is clear and transparent, has stable quality, and has a long shelf life. Specially suitable for the refined production of mineral oil, vegetable oil, and animal oil. Dosage ratio: The dosage is determined based on the depth of the color. For black colors, a 1:10 ratio is used (1 jin of clay is used to treat 10 jin of oil). For darker colors, a ratio of 1:20, 1:30, or 1:50 is used. The specific dosage depends on the degree of decolorization desired. Usage: Add activated clay, stir evenly for 20 minutes, let it settle for more than 3 days, and finally filter out the clay with a filter mesh of 400 or more. Waste oil must be single, for example, the gear oil used cannot be mixed with diesel and other oil products. If other oil products are mixed together, the sediment will not meet the requirements for reuse, so only a distillation kettle can be used for purification. If no other oil products are added, after adding clay sediment to the container, such as an oil tank, a filter can be used to filter out most of the clay, and then an oil filter can be used to filter and refine it again. Only in this way can the obtained oil be clear and can continue to be used.
